Bedrock Gardens hosts a Fairy & Hobbit House Festival

Sign-ups for this event will open Monday, August 7, 8am
Stroll along a woodland Fairy and Hobbit House Trail past houses created by gardeners, artists, and children, and take time to make your own house out of natural materials provided. Vote for your favorite. Tracy Kane, award winning Fairy Houses author, www.fairyhouses.com, will greet you and read from her books on Saturday & Sunday. You will be enchanted. GSA s are invited to volunteer. This is a GSA approved event which means NHGSA will not be managing the volunteers for this event, but you will receive GSA volunteer service hours. Your onsite & event contact will be GSA Kate Bashline. *** Please sign up online through the GSA calendars. Kate will be monitoring the calendars.

Designer Check In: You will be working with the Chair to welcome house designers arriving with their creation by appointment and walking them 1/8 mile to the trail. It is inspiring and exciting to see their work.

Bus Greeter / Entrance Parking Monitor: This team welcomes arrivals to maximize parking of 30 car lot, when full redirects to offsite lot and a friendly overseer unloading or loading of shuttle.

Fairy Trail : You will be working with the Chair to welcome and orient visitors to the trail, give building info at Woodland Village Building Department, handout ballots at People's Choice Vote Table, handout materials at Gnome Depot and set a tone of respect for the environment.
