Below is a listing of annual and as needed awards. Please submit one form per nomination. The simpler and easier it is for you to nominate, the easier and simpler it is for the committee to review your nomination package. ANNUAL AWARDS

GSA OF THE YEAR AWARD – This award is given to a GSA extraordinaire, providing outstanding service to New Hampshire’s Tourism Industry. Recognized for excellent service to the community, dedicated to the GSA mission, a GSA making a difference in volunteering at centers providing guests a unique experience with endless spirit and enthusiasm, a help to other GSAs training and mentoring with patience.

HOSPITALITY FROM THE HEART AWARD - This award is given to the GSA who spends endless hours trying to go unnoticed and gives generous contributions to other GSAs from their warm heart. Candidate should have a down to earth personality; make everyone feel comfortable by demonstrating altruism and helpfulness to others.

SERVICE AWARD – This award is given to the GSA that serves the GSA program volunteering their time with enthusiasm. They are someone who shares their training expertise with others while still continuing to learn about the state of New Hampshire through GSA special events, tours, and specialized trainings.

AS NEEDED AWARDS

GSA EMERITUS – This status is given to a GSA (living or who has passed away) who has honorably resigned or retired their GSA position, but who retains their GSA membership.

MERIT AWARD – This award honors individuals who give something extra making them an invaluable part of our state and a critical part of the GSA organization. This award may be given to a GSA or someone who is not a GSA. They can be either a volunteer or professional.

BENEFACTOR AWARD – Extraordinary efforts of a GSA or supporter who has given their time, their money or assets to live on for the greater good of the GSA program. This award may be given to a GSA or someone who is not a GSA. They can be either a volunteer or professional.

KUDOS RECOGNITION - This can be given to anyone (GSA, Volunteer, NH Tourism Industry Employee or Friend of GSA) at anytime to commend them for something wonderful, great customer service, friendly personality, helpful in situations. "Kudos" may be given multiple times to one person.
