Eligibility
1. Candidates must be certified Granite State Ambassadors and must be in good standing as an active volunteer.
2. Candidates must have at least 50 hours of volunteer service and have been active within the year of nomination. (GSAs may be employed, but must also have volunteered their services through official GSA Centers and/or Special Events.)
3. Candidates must have at least 1 year of service as a certified GSA.
4. Self nominations will be accepted and considered.
Submission Procedures
Any one can nominate a person for an AMBIE Award. Nominations must contain adequate factual or descriptive material for the Committee (former GSAs of the Year) to review, choose and send the nomination to the full GSA Board of Directors for final approval.
Review the information below and the information provided on the Nomination Form to appropriately submit your nomination. Self nominations will be accepted and considered; be sure that there is a letter of support from a second party.
All nominations are due no later than April 16, 2012.
1. Complete and submit an official ONLINE GSA AMBIES Nomination Form
2. Entry Materials – Please limit entries to material that pertains directly to Granite State Ambassadors, NH Tourism Industry, Promotion of a Hospitality Culture, and Community Service within the Travel & Tourism Industry. This could include volunteer duties at other venues, chambers, special events. It could also include work related achievements, etc.
3. Letters of Support from nominator and/or others to support the nomination. Note: If you are nominating yourself, someone other than yourself must submit a letter of recommendation.
4. Additional Materials that support the candidate’s nomination as needed and appropriate.
